Meet the Extern – Edi

My name is Ediberto III Rodriguez De Jesus, but everybody calls me Edi. I am the JHBI Audiology Extern for the 2022-2023 year. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but after high school and thanks to a baseball scholarship, I decided to attend Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. At Graceland, I completed my B.A degree in Health. I have completed all the required campus-based academic components and will graduate in June 2023 from A.T Still University in Mesa, Arizona. 

I haven’t had much time to explore and adventure in Jacksonville yet. I hope in the future to have time to discover what Jacksonville has to offer. I am curious to go to the Beaches in Jacksonville. I am pretty sure the beaches at Jax are lovely, but I bet to anyone that Puerto Rico beaches are the best in the world, lol. For the moment, I enjoy watching baseball games (Let’s Go Mets!) and listening to podcasts. 

During my first two weeks at JHBI, I have been impressed with the clinic’s facilities. JHBI is a very comprehensive clinic with a very knowledgeable staff. I am excited to learn from all my preceptors and develop my skills here at JHBI.
