Hearing Loss Association of America 

Hearing loss can be an isolating condition. Hearing loss only impacts the one with the loss, but family members, friends, colleagues, etc as well. It may result in social withdrawal, disinterest in favorite activities, and even distress. The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA)  is a nationwide community of support to the growing number of people with, and at risk of, hearing loss. HLAA is dedicated to the education, advocacy, hope, and empowerment for people and loved ones with hearing loss. With over 100 chapters across America, local chapters offer various means of involvement, including guest lecture series and participation in community events.
