Join us for the Clarke Ice Cream Run!

This weekend Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute will participate in the Clarke Ice Cream Run. This 1 mile/5K race supports the Clarke School for Hearing and Speech, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn to listen and speak. Funds raised from the run go directly toward programs and services at their Jacksonville campus, benefiting local children and families.

For children with hearing loss, access to sound is critical for spoken language development. Clarke School for Hearing and Speech focuses on early intervention to build these foundational skills through a combination of, hearing technology like cochlear implants and hearing aids, speech and language therapy and family coaching and education

Events like the Ice Cream Run help make these life-changing services accessible. In many cases, Clarke provides support to families at little or no cost, meaning community fundraising plays a crucial role in sustaining these programs.

Hearing loss and providing access to sound through hearing aids and cochlear implants is dear to our hearts at Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute and we are excited to participate in such an exciting cause!
